I would love to learn that skill. Although I live in Oregon. Maybe you have
friends out here as keen to teach as you are?

Did you try the state vocational rehabilitation department or bureau of
services to the blind? You might state if you would be willing to teach
blind high school students.

Hi everyone,
Somehow I got on this list. I am not blind but was seeking
out blind people to help teach how to spin.
I am an alpaca farmer in NC and spin their beautiful fleece
by hand, the old fashioned way . I realized that this would be a
wonderful skill that blind people could easily develope as it is
almost 100% by feel.
I called a few organizations locally (I'm s. of Charlotte)
however got no response. So there I am...
If anyone would like to take me up on this, I'll be available
but I live in Monroe, NC>
  best regards,
Val
