[Ag-eq] weaving in Richmond, VA

I'll have to check and see. Sometimes they can be a bit funny about those
things. I tried years ago to get some interest going in some gardening over
there, but there didn't seem to be enough interest to really get anything
started. One student interested wasn't going to make an impression on the
powers to be. I may have to talk to the new Director, and see if maybe I
can volunteer with some of the crafts they have.

My only problem doing that, is I would have to depend on my sister for
transportation. No service whatsoever is available out here where I live in
hanover County to get to the rehab center in Henrico County, even though it
is only about 25 to 30 minutes away.

Then again, the weaving and even basket weaving peeks my interest enough to
take it to the next level. My sister and I have been to the center as a
part of their career day thing, showing that different aspects of
farming/horticulture could also be a career goal if one has an interest.
Who knows, all it takes is just a spark of interest.
