What a great story!

It sounds like something I would do.

Once I was riding my mule Cricket with a large group and needed to go.  My 
friend said she would hang back with me so that we could get off the trail 
and find a place.  Well Cricket is very heard bound and didn't want to get 
separated; she kept trying to go with the group and didn't want to turn off 
the trail.  She almost drug me through a cactus before the deed was done!
