Hi JODY, as far as I know, the cosest two mailing lists are the Krafter's 
mailing list and the Artist's mailing list. You and your friend can sign up 
for both of them if you visit

www.NFB.net

which connects you to all of the NFB mailing lists. There are a lot of 
nitters on the Krafter's mailing list. I am the only weaver that I know of 
on the Krafter's mailing list. The Artist mailing list might connect you to 
other nitters and weavers as well. I am also the only weaver that I know of 
on the Artist mailing list. My E Mail has been down for most of this week. 
If I missed any questions, please resend them and I can answer them.
