Hi Jody

Can you tell me your techneque for mucking out? I would like to be able to do that but haven't tried.

Hooves can be touched when picking them out. Your hoof pick will tell you about rocks in the hoof in the same way your fork lets you know what is on your plate.

I ride using echolocation. It works well for me. The horse's hooves are a good way to get information about what kind of serface you are on. Your two-way radio sounds like a solid plan!

I don'tuse a ball because the girls actually have to be made to leave the gate and they always call to me. I would use one if needed but I would be concious of not leaving it on if I were not there. I would be worried about them getting stuck but perhaps you have suggestions on that.

I touch the minis all over so feel for problems. I also get feedback from trusted friends.

Eye contact, well, it hasn't been too crucial in my world but I do use body language they understand. People get stuck on one idea and remain fixated on it but mine do just fine without it. I can look in the general direction but that's it.

Hope that helps and keem the great thoughts coming.

Michelle
