Shreyas:

There are a lot of blind gardeners out there, so it can be done.

Some of the members have already given you some great ideas.

I like to start my seeds in pots and then move the small plants into the garden.
 I grow most of my herbs and some of my tomatos in large pots.  I also have
several large raised beds.  I find it easier to manage the plants this way and
it's easier on my back!

I've also use Jody's technique and marked rows with posts and string.  I've also
planted along fences, side walks and the house, so I could easily find my row of
plants.  The important thing is to be organized.  It is easy to tell most plants
from weeds once you learn the difference.  Often when I plant a new vegetable or
flower I'll buy the plant first.  This way I can learn to recognize it and the
next time I purchase seeds.
