Is that why my dogs have never been afflicted with separation anxiety?  because there has never been 
a moment's doubt as to just who is the boss in this 'ere outfit!

Hi Nella,

One thing I heard about separation anxiety is that a dog who feels he is the
Alpha gets very concerned when his pack leaves because he feels responsible
for them.

If you make it clear you are the pack leader he will relax and he won't
worry when you leave because you are boss.
