Nella,

I agree that I have met some pretty amazing people who have taken the time 
to fully research and study their interests without a speck of higher 
education.  The sad thing is that I have also met several people with a 
great deal of higher education under their belt for many years and don't 
seem to know their subject half as well as those who have lesser formal 
education.  Passion for your interest is a greater motovater than that roll 
of pig skin any day.
