Jody!  I may be barking up the wrong tree, but I believe that pheromones:  possibly synthetic, but 
what the heck if they work: representing the scent of various animals can be bought.
I think that I came across the mention in a very good book about search and rescue dogs.
The author was writing about the training of these dogs, some of which were specialist cadaver dogs; 
therefore, had to be able to recognise  the scent of a dead human.
If I was not barking up the wrong tree and you could get a bottle of * fox and sprinkle that all 
around the perimeter of your garden, one whiff of that would give the pesky bunnies reason to think 
gtwice and thrice that it would be in their best interests to keep out of the area where a fox, one 
of their primary predators, lived!
