Cabbages are a cool weather crop, so do not grow through the whole summer. A
couple of times I've let them go to long and they got a very bitter taste.

I'm not sure how hot it is in Tracy's area, but I have to grow them in the late
fall or winter.

There are different varieties that vary in size. I have better luck with the
smaller ones.

Tracy, I hope you will let us know how they turn out.
