[Ag-eq] Salutations/Introduction

I lost my sight about nine years ago. I already had 26 years of service at
Verizon so I retired. Once I decided I needed some rehabilitation and could
go back to work, I learned about Schedule A in the Federal Government.

I have been there for almost three years. I started as a contractor at
another agency but after getting on the list for Schedule A, I was picked up
by USDA.

Hi Michelle and welcome to the list.

How did you end up working for the USDA and how long have you been there?

I would love to know about the programs. I often think about how I would
like
to support myself with agriculture, instead of it just being my hobby. I've
thought about a small goat dairy or an organic cage free chicken farm.

I currently live in Arizona, but am considering moving back to Arkansas
since my
family has a lot of land there. I'm just not sure what I would do for work.

I would love to hear your ideas and suggestions.

If you like you can contact me personally. my email is
nfoster at extremezone.com
