[Ag-eq] Rope Halters

I have read books, such as The Horse Whisperer where the guy just seems to give the rope a couple of 
twists as he approaches the animal, and there. in the blink of an eye, you have a halter, but just 
how it's done, I haven't a clue!

I just buy them, but I've seen instructions on line and even books for doing it.
