[Ag-eq] update on my job

Hey All,
     Finally, school is out and I can write about my wonderful first
shift at the stables. It turned out to be a week later than planned
because I needed o&M services first. I spent the first hour or so of
my shift haying the approximately 50 horses in the barn. I was told
from the get go that I would not be treated differently than anyone
else, and that was the case. I also mucked 4 stalls and continued to
learn where everything was in and around the barn. It was a
wonderfully challenging experience and I woke up the next day sore as
sore could be and with a riding class at 8 A.M., at which I rode a
semi truck of a horse hunt seat. So needless to say, I was ever so
sore on that Saturday, but wouldn't trade it for the world.
