Too cold! what are you tokin about woman!
In Southland, summer temps vary from 15 to 30C, winter temps are well above
what you have I think:
can vary from an overnight, at its very coldest, minus 10c up to the high
teens.
In Central Otago, 2 hours drive from Gore, sure, winters are cold but no
colder than what you get, probably a lot warmer, while summers are hot
35/up to 40C.
The further north you go, the warmer the winters and hotter the summers,
until you get into Northland, "the winterless North"
TOO COLD! PHOOEY!!!

Jewel, I think it is to cold there. Also I'm a southern girl and the way
they talk annoys me. Lol

Maybe, you should all move to New York! From what I read and hear from
those who have been there, you speak to a New Yorker who you have never met
and within a minute or 2, you have been made privvy to his enhtire family
history back to the Pilgrim Fathers.

Hi Nella.
Yeah, that can be a problem with small towns. Everyone else has known each
other since they were little kids, and they're not interested in newcomers.
My family moved to a new town when I was 9 or so, and it was hard to meet
new friends.

I am finding places that aren't established yet, or places that sound a
million miles from anywhere. I'm interested in the ideas I found for New
Jersey, but they meet a long way from here. What are you finding? You can
write me off-list, if you want, Carcione at access.net .

I forgot to say earlier what my husband can do. He's a demon at pulling
weeds. Point him at the weeds, and get out of the way! But not weeds mixed
in with the garden; he can't tell the difference. He's also great at taking
long walks and schlepping stuff back--very handy for lazy me.
Tracy
