I will have to try this because the squash bugs always get the best of my
squash.

Subject: [Ag-eq] Squash protectors

A garden guy on the radio reccomends planting borage with squash plants to
deter squash bugs. Borage is an herb with edible flowers that taste like
cucumber. It can also be used in tea. I forget if the leaves are edible,
but Google would answer that.

I personally have no problems with squash bugs this year, as the possums
devoured my squash plants long before any bugs could come along.
