When it comes to figuring out the psyche that reposes within the wooly head
of a sheep, they have a lot more nouse and wisdom than we give them credit
for.
I have just put the ewes with their 7 lambs into a  paddock that has a creek
running through it. 
The first thing that one of the ewes did was to gather all the lambs around
her and lead them across the bridge, thus showing them that this was the way
to bet from one side of the paddock to the other, not try to walk on water
as myth tells us was a feat performed by some magician, in a land far away,
a few, come to think of it, more than just a few years back.
