[Ag-eq] Westminster Dog Show

Hah, very funny! Show that vacuum who's boss! The pom I've met most
recently loves nothing better than to sit in someone's lap. He can do it
for hours.

Airedales are police dogs, so they must be able to concentrate. But maybe
it's a different kind of concentration than guide work. A big city guide
does have to notice and assess a lot of things, and be ready to act on them
at a second's notice. They might be good at that.

I think a terrier's attention would be hard to keep focused on just the
guiding aspects of travel when there would be certainly more things to
distract them that have nothing to do with their main task.

My mother was given aPomeranian named Fluff Puff and he was the greatest
little dog. Since I'm not a fan of long haird dogs, I would probably have
to keep him in a manageable clip and most definitely have a fenced in
yard/area for him. Fluff's only major problem was that if you took him off
leash, he would take off and keep on running and you would have to actually
get ahead of him and catch him. Thank God for little dogs with really short
legs! He loved to play, but hated the vaccume. We had to put him in the
bathroom and he carried on like we had brought a grizzly bear in the house.
Then when we finally let him out, he'd go over to the vaccume and growl at
it as if to say, "Now you stay the frick right there and don't move!"
