[Ag-eq] Michael

[dogwood farm]

Hi Jewel,

Here in central Virginia, Michael came through here Thursday night
with pounding rain and sustained winds of 30 to 35 miles per hour.  We
lost power and phone at 8:30 p.m. and had the generator running by
11:30 a.m. the next day.  It is now Saturday and at 9:30 a.m. we got
our power back, but no phone.  They can't come out until Tuesday.

What storm damage we have was just slightly above minor with tree
limbs down and several of my cabin windows leeking because of the
driving rain.  I'll have to keep the generator running until my
husband comes home tonight because I'm too short and my arm can't
reach the plugs for our fridg or our upright freezer.

Other than that, all is well here on Dogwood Farm and I am enjoying
the cooler weather, 60's for the high and 40's for the low.  My
favorite Fall weather.
