Tracy,

We had a pond before my cousin and I split the 60 achers. On the
opposite end of the property there is another pond, but that is also
not our's, however, the pond's spillway is on our property. Also
through our property is a diagonal line of natural underground springs
that feeds both ponds. Nothing that is at the surface except what we
call sink spots that are along a section of our driveway. No matter
what we fill those areas up with, dirt, gravel or concrete chunks,
they will still sink and become pothole trenches.

We keep a concrete birdbath full of fresh water for the birds and
honey bees. I would like to eventually put in a small ornamental pond
with a water fall filter system to have a place where I can put my
yellow belly slider turtles in during the summer when we are outside.
Lennie and Squiggie are getting a bit big to stay in their 55 gallon
tank all year round. They are pretty big boys now and they need to
stretch their legs every now and then and get a bit more sun other
than their reptile lights.
