Subject: From Sandy Krems Tele-conference on Losing Vision

Our “Facing Blindness” teleconference will be this Sunday, August 19, at 7:00 p.m.  This month we will be discussing the information that has been provided in the phone calls since we started, and determining which topics need to be further elaborated as well as new topics to be added.  We will be looking for input from call participants to find out how we can reach out to those who need the support that such a group offers.  

We will also be providing information about the Ohio NFB convention which will be held in Strongsville on November 2,3, and 4.  The convention is open to members and non members, and will offer a wide range of information and exhibits.  If you are not a member of NFB, and live in the Cleveland area, it would be a wonderful place to get information, see the latest technology, and meet other visually impaired folks.   On Sunday’s phone call, we will discuss the possibility of setting up an informal gathering of  those of us who participate in the Sunday teleconferences on one of the convention days.
