Hello,
This is very important for us to do. We need your written testimonies for
the prescription bill!
Good afternoon,
I want to thank Suzanne and Annette for taking a lead on this it is very
important that we get everyone to submit testimony it is very possible that
this time we can get this bill over the cliff, but it will take us all.
Testimony should be submitted 24 hours before the committee meeting they
will still accept it but the best thing would be if you could get yours in
so it will be available at the same time that several of us will be in person
to testify.
Representative Sigrist aid provided information that a second hearing will
be on Tuesday, October 28th at 9:30 A.M. EST. Therefore, proponent
testimonies are needed in support of HB374 either written or in-person.
Thus, HB374 is currently in the House Insurance Committee.
Representative, legislative Aid, has agreed
to complete the witness forms for us. He will need to know if you will
submit testimony in-person or written. Therefore, your name , address,
telephone number and email are needed. Please, get them in as soon as
possible.
Again, when you send your email, include your type of attendance, name ,
address, telephone number and email, along with your support for the bill
if testifying in writing. Even if you will testify in person, you have to
send over the information for the aid to add your name to speak. Please CC
President Payne and me and send everything to:
*OHrinsurancecommittee at ohiohouse.gov* <OHrinsurancecommittee at ohiohouse.gov>;
Rep10Ohiohouse.gov
For those who wish to be present at the State House, email me and CC
President Payne.

Instructions for Submitting Testimony in Support of HB374
Introduction
Good afternoon,
I would like to extend my appreciation to Suzanne and Annette for their
leadership on this important effort. It is crucial that everyone submits
testimony, as there is a real possibility of moving this bill forward, but
it will require the collective support of all involved.
Guidelines for Submitting Testimony
Testimony should ideally be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the
committee meeting. While submissions are accepted after this timeframe,
early submission ensures that your testimony will be available when several
of us attend the meeting in person to testify.
Upcoming Hearing Details
Representative Sigrist's legislative aide has provided information about a
second hearing, which will take place on Tuesday, October 28th at 9:30 A.M.
EST. Proponent testimonies—either written or in-person—are needed in
support of HB374, which is currently under consideration by the House
Insurance Committee.
Witness Forms and Required Information
Representative Sigrist's legislative aide has agreed to complete the
witness forms for us. To facilitate this, please indicate whether you will
submit your testimony in-person or in writing. The following information is
required:
· Name
· Address
· Telephone number
· Email address
Please submit this information as soon as possible.
Email Submission Instructions
When sending your email, clearly indicate your type of attendance (written
or in-person), and include your name, address, telephone number, and email.
If you are submitting written testimony, express your support for the bill
in your message. Even if you plan to testify in person, your information
must be sent so the aide can add you to the list of speakers.
When submitting, please CC President Payne and myself, and send everything
to:
· OHrinsurancecommittee at ohiohouse.gov
· Rep10Ohiohouse.gov
Instructions for Attending in Person
If you wish to be present at the State House, email me directly and CC

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
