> The NFB NOBBL Women cordially invites everyone to attend our February 9, 2026meeting that will be held at 7 pm via Zoom. February is Black History month, and throughout time, one of the main things people fought for was equitable access to live the lives they wanted. Our meeting focus is on equitable access to the arts, cultural events and venues, and activities for blind/low vision people. We will have two interesting speakers. Our first speaker will be Frances Durham (NFB Virginia), who will share her experience as a founding member of Access Virginia, an organization whose mission was to ensure that blind/low vision Virginians had equitable access to cultural events and venues. Hopefully, we will walk away with some keys to improving access in our states and cities. Our second speaker will be Stephanie Sanders (NFB Florida), who describes herself as someone who makes her own path when the one that is presented does not work for her. She is the author of the book “One More Day”. She will discuss this book and her creative journey. Please join us for this interesting discussion about access to the arts, and the ability to create art. As usual, there will be a question-and-answer period for both speakers and your input is welcomed.
