NLS. Updates:

 

1. The NLS. Patron Engagement Section will host their That All May e-Read presentation on June 30, 2026 at 7 PM.

They will be talking about how to enter special characters using your ereader.

 

2. The DA2 will be getting firmware update later this summer.

There will be lots of new features, and 2 of them that were announced are integration with Bookshare, and, NFB. Newsline.

Did you know that there's a way to have VoiceOver be quiet on conference calls without disabling it?

IT's as simple as doing a 3-finger double-tap, which will toggle speech on and off. Your VoiceOver sounds will still be audible, however.
