<div>You all remember we donated a big bag full of scarves and gloves last December, to the Haven of Rest. They serve 1200 people every month with clothing. We can do the same this year, we’ll talk about it.</div>

<div>The director Mike has offered to host us for our meeting on September 21 in their meeting room. Please arrive a bit early so we can get a brief tour of their facility. After the tour we will have lunch and our chapter meeting there in the meeting room.</div>

<div>There is no charge for lunch. We will put together a box of canned fruit and canned vegetables, which are their biggest food needs, and take it there as a donation at a later date.</div>

<div>I went there years ago with a Chamber of Commerce group, and it was a rewarding experience.  </div>

<div>Please make your travel arrangements now. We all want to be there by 10:15 or so, as we will start the tour AT 10:30, and have our meeting and lunch immediately after the tour. We’ll start wrapping up our meeting and lunch by 12:30, so 12:30 or 1:00 would

be a good time to schedule a pickup ride. </div>
