Beginning Monday February 16, 2026, at 2PM Eastern Time in Zoom, this course will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays (and a few other days), through the end of May, with our final session to be held on Thursday May 28. The course is completely free, but preregistration is required. The link to register can be found on our website and at the bottom of this email.</span></p>

In order to make sure you are ready, please be sure you already have a basic understanding of how to use iOS on the iPhone. If you plan to use Voiceover with your iPad, then please also ensure that you have a reasonable working knowledge of how to use Voiceover.</span></p>

Featuring 25 audio sessions, this course will get you up and running with Voiceover and iOS, and will ensure that you\u2019re ready to take our free iPad course. The podcast contains numerous other tech-related sessions as well, so be sure to check it out. <p class="p2"><span class="s1">Apple provides a user guide for every type of device, such as iPhone and iPad. This guide can be read easily with VoiceOver, and can also be found online using any web browser. The user guide offers comprehensive sections on almost every aspect of using your Apple device and native apps. Apple also provides other helpful resources and articles to help you learn even more. To start out, open the Tips app on your Apple device, then look through the available topics, including the User Guides section. If you are using a non-Apple device, open your favorite web browser and enter the search term, \u201cApple Support iPhone User Guide\u201d, or whichever device you wish to see. You can also search for specific topics, such as, \u201cApple Support Add events to the Calendar\u201d.</span></p>

Featuring the initial introduction of the iPad, the 2025 Worldwide Developers Conference where the latest updates to iPadOS were announced, and more, these videos are certainly not required for you to take this course, but watching them will give you a deeper insight into the features, functionality, and philosophy behind the iPad. Plus, if you\u2019re a tech enthusiast, you\u2019ll have fun watching them. That\u2019s what they\u2019re there for. However, as stated, we\u2019ve completely overhauled the curriculum this year, and with so many changes to iPadOS since last year, we feel it would be in your best interest to wait for the new class, especially since it begins in only a few short weeks.</span></p>
