I developed a touch tour several years ago and it has been successfully
implemented in several museums including the the UA Museum of Art and at the
Time Machine (Miniature Museum) in Tucson on a permanent basis, the Museum
of Contemporary Art in VA Beach and the Muscarelle Museum in Williamsburg,
for selected shows, and the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, for descriptive
tours.  

The full tour consists of tactile paintings and description of the
paintings.  I will be glad to send you a copy of the tour, with examples on
how to do the description of the art work, and how to create the tactile
"paintings".  

This is free, a low cost budget, and often can be done in-house for the
artwork and sent out for the completion of the tactile "painting".
