Hi Valerie,

This is Matt Gesualdi. The zoom meeting with Ashleigh and Tudor Scripor, the inventor of the Scripor alphabet, happened a couple months ago.

Since then, he and I have been talking about and planning the color wheel. It's being made in Poland, but there's no specific date set for finishing.

I'd love to keep your email address and include you in product testing if you are ok with that.

Thanks for asking.
Matt

Hi, this is Valerie,
I’m just curious, did this zoom event take place? I’m curious how it went. :) I’m an artist, totally blind since birth and always willing to learn more about visual concepts. :)
Best,
Valerie

Hi Ashleigh,

I've been speaking to Tudor Paul Scripor about helping you and others with the same dilemma about picking colors.

He's developed a tactile set of words just for colors. He's won awads in his home of Romania and other countries. He'd like to meet via Zoom if you're interested.

To prep for the meeting he'd like you to have 20 beans or pennies or anything else small and tactile. Not marbles since they are uncooperative about staying still.

Since he's 12 hours ahead of us it would have to be morning. Does that sound interesting to you? Maybe next week?

Hi Ann,

Thanks so much for your quick reply. I will certainly give the app you
suggested a try. I have another app I've used, I can't think of the
name, but it is not very accurate. I've also used the color option on
the SEeingAI app. The issue I'm finding is the need to have almost
perfect and consistent lighting to get accurate readings each time.
For instance, it will read the color as red, than pink, than bright
red, etc.

The main reason I'm interested in the color wheel, however, is not
necessarily color detection. The wheel is supposed to be laid out in a
way that allows users to locate colors on the wheel, and use their
locations to identify analogous colors, complementary colors, etc. I
am looking for a good method of identifying when different colors fit
with each other. Especially when you start to get away from the super
basic colors like blue or green, and into more variants such as aqua
or teal.

I hope that all makes sense.

Thanks again!
