smaller towns, but research groups and communities in your area that support the
arts. There may be festivals and events throughout the year where your art can
be displayed and sold. For instance, in Omaha each year, we host a huge arts
festival in the downtown area, we have starving artists shows during the year;
several groups host various shows and programs local artist can participate in.

<DIV>I've bought from Etsy many times, and it has a pretty good representation
of artists with disabilities and art and crafts which integrate braille,
including jewelry, pictures, and baby blankets. It is possible to build
social circles on Etsy, and I've often wished that there was a blind artists
community on it, but I'm not sure about all the ways to connect and create
communities on the very extensive site.<BR><BR>Kestrell </DIV>

<DIV>Hi Heather, try out the internet. I heard places like Ebay
are a good market. State and local fairs are another great way to
either show off your work or sell it down the road. Art festables
are a great place to show off your work so that you can get a
sense of how it will do in the market. They are just some ideas
that I got since I worked in the Oregon State Fair and heard about
the internet and got a rag rug displayed in a place that normally
shows off art instead of crafts this year. I hope that they are a
help to you! </DIV>

<TD vAlign=top><FONT size=5>I'm also very interested in
hearing about how others market or sell their work. Part
of my trouble is I never have much in stock at any given
time. But, should I manage to build up something, I'd love
to find a way to do something constructive with it. I have
hung some of my work at local coffee shops, but it never
really sells. I thought maybe it was me, but when I spoke
to others who have used the same venues, it seems like
they also haven't had much luck. At least the artwork
isn't just sitting under my bed though! Grin!
