If you press firmly as you draw on the paper you will be able to not only feel the line on the back side of the paper but also on the front. This means you can use one hand to look at what you are drawing as you draw with your other hand. Not having to draw backwards can be a great advantage!</div><div><br></div><div>Once you get used to it you will know how hard to press to make a distinct line but not tear it. But if a picture tears that you wanted to keep you can easily repair it. All you need to do is lay it face down on some old newspaper take some spray adhesive and give it a light coat. Then lay a new sheet of paper over the back and smooth together. Now you can handle it just like a sheet of paper. Hey list,<br>
I purchased a raised line drawing board at national convention (mine<br>
was one made by Ann's student). I have used it to sketch out what I<br>
want to make with brads and other items for three-dimensional art. I<br>
also plan to use it with my student assistant for algebra...he can<br>
trace graphs with it onto regular paper so I can feel what it looks<br>
like, as wel as shapes and other algebraic stuff. :D I reall like y<br>
newdrawing board!<br>
