<DIV><FONT size=5>I used to actually work in the trade show business. I was an editor of an international magazine for people who plan large trade shows. In 2008, however, my health problems were becoming more frequent and time consuming, so I had to quit working. Now, I work part-time, and volunteer full time, for the HPS Network. It's so great to have found something that is flexible and can work around my medical issues. The show in Miami is for GI docs. HPS causes Crohn's disease, as well as vision and bleeding problems (and other stuff.) </FONT></DIV>

Art festables are a great place to show off your work so that you can get a sense of how it will do in the market. <TD vAlign=top><FONT size=5>I'm also very interested in hearing about how others market or sell their work. Part of my trouble is I never have much in stock at any given time. But, should I manage to build up something, I'd love to find a way to do something constructive with it. I have hung some of my work at local coffee shops, but it never really sells. I thought maybe it was me, but when I spoke to others who have used the same venues, it seems like they also haven't had much luck. At least the artwork isn't just sitting under my bed though! Grin! </FONT><BR><BR>
