[AutonomousVehicles] Waymo Self Driver Vehicle gets stuck in a loop

I think there's a very good reason why Waymo can't "take control" of the vehicle.
If Waymo can take control of a vehicle, so can someone with bad intent.
I'd rather there was an emergency button in the vehicle which when pressed stops the car, turns on the flashers and unlocks the door. This has the potential to cause traffic problems if a panicked or ill-intentioned rider presses the button unnecessarily, and I suspect this option limits the extent of the damage that can be done.
