Hello Corn,

Yes. The Waymo App has been installed on both of our smartphones and we’re ready to enter the Waymo test track when it comes to the Alamo City. The only question to be answered is when? So far we haven’t received an official launch date for Waymo in San Antonio. See you on the test track.

Hello Haylieand everyone,

With Uber rolling out its own fleet of autonomous vehicles we hope they will not continue to partner with Waymo. They’re currently partnering with Waymo in Atlanta and Austin and possibly Nashville in the near future. We’re expected to get Waymo in San Antonio later this year. Perhaps Uber rolling out its own fleet of autonomous vehicles will spell the end of the Uber/Waymo partnership. See y’all on the test track.

I am just hoping that Waymo doesn’t continue partnering with Uber like in Austin and Atlanta. Short version is that I had an Uber driver do something illegal, and since I was in danger at that point, I followed Ohio law and used my stun gun. Got banned for using it even though I followed Ohio law on my property. Uber only cares about the driver not the customer in this case.

AT CES 2026, a few days ago, Waymo revealed the final version of the new vehicle that will replace the current Waymo Fleet. Here is a video that a person did that gives an in-depth overview of this new vehicle:
