Hi Susan, I'm not sure this would help at all since I am certainly no authority on scanning but maybe a pdf file would be better for Jaws to read? I use Kurzweil and an Epson scanner myself so don't read those scanned files with Jaws but it just might work using a pdf format! Good luck! Gail
