[Blind-cooks] Honeycrisp Apples

I do not know, but David might know a little more as I believe it was
developed near him as well much like the Honey Crisp. I believe it was
through the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire or River Falls, but don't
hold me to that as a quote. I am sure like the Honey Crisp, it will slowly
make it's appearance.

Hi, Steve:

OK! Next year Carolyn and I will be right over to raid your honey crisp
tree! LOL! Do you know the name of this new breed of apple that's coming?
Thanks!
Susan

Hi Carolyn,

They are really super sweet, and there is now another even sweeter variety
that will be hitting the markets in the next few years that states that they
are even sweeter than the Honey Crisp. I have a 5-year old Honey Crisp tree
in my backyard probably about 20 feet...it is just an amazing tree! I'd bet
I get about a bushel of apples off of that tree, and I believe that the
McIntosh I have is the pollinator.

Steve

    Hi All,

If you haven't tried these, give them a chance. Heard about them last year
and just had one a few weeks ago. Love them! Best apple I've ever eaten.
Carolyn
