[Blind-International-Students] Facilities provide to visually impaired students

  Hello this is *Suhas Lingaraj Dharwad , FROM  Gokul Road, HUBLI* ,

I am a vissually impared student studying in 12th class, i would like to
suggest some facilities which the governement should try to facilitate for
the benefit  for the people with special needs,

i faced a lot of problem while writing exams/tests, this is mainly cause, i
needed to write my exam/test using a scribe,
and that is a very helpful facility which governement has given visualy
impared students in exams.
how ever, that is some what not satisfactory for me
mainly due to the inconvenience  caused by the scribe.
as the scribe, reads out the question paper to the person who is dictating
i. e. the student,
the answers, which the student/visually impared person dictates, can't be
judged weather the writer/scribe has written as the dictator needed it to
be?
for instance the writer might have written something different than what
the dictator had dictated.
 it is also very hard to find scribes,.
that also adds up to the list of problems which we i. e. visually impared
people face while writing exams using scribe,
and it is hard sometimes to find scribe cause, some type of exams require
the scribe to  be in some other field for instance, a person who has
completed his/her degree in commerce he/she  can't write  exams for the
same field.
a solution would be to give the privllage of writing exams on a laptop for
visually impared students
this saves a whole lot of time,
instead of dictating  the person could just type in the answers on their
laptop.
this, prevents visually impared students  from searching scribes.
and there are many instances where some folks, couldn't write their exams
just because they didn't get any writer to write their exams.

as nowadays everything is done through internet, people with special needs
could be given  some sort of internet facility , so that it helps students
and other people with special needs from, going out and facing a bunch of
issues,
everything could be done easily on their computer or their smart phone.
nowadays we get books, also through online so why not, get those books from
internet?
it saves a whole lot of time, if i take my instance,
i send a text book to an institute to get it converted in to braille,
[braille is the type of reading and writing system for visually impared]
they take around 2/3 months to get it printed in to braille,
where as if i get that same text book from internet there is no, problem,,
and helps a lot.

so by this i hope governement will look at this problem and solution.
