I have a jazzy electric scooter which I have had for less then a  year.  My 
arm rest is already coming away from the seam on the NON-CONTROL  side and two 
of the wheels are cracked on it already.  
 
Now I have to say...I use this chair a lot since its my legs now...and I do  
have a few accidents (we won't talk about the door frames I have taken with me 
 at times) but I would think this is not normal wear and tear to have both 
these  things happen so early in the use of the chair.  Has anyone ever had any  
problem with the chair?  
 
Oh and has anyone tried a gel pad with this type chair?  I did and it  feels 
very uncomfortable and I slide forward.
