Jordana,
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I think the best thing you can
do is take a long white cane and your chair out and just try it. Put
your chair on the slowest speed at first; you can always speed it up.
Going outside of your residence and trying the power chair in familiar
areas is a great start. As Penny's latest post shows, the power chair
works really well outdoors.
I look forward to hearing more about your travels using your power chair.
