You do bring up some good points.
My chair has six wheels on it as well: four coaster wheels and the drive wheels are in the center.
It's a rehab chair, but I am glad that it works the best.
What concerns me more are the other designed power chairs that don't have good stability and the suspension as you've mentioned.
I've encountered pot holes and other sorts of broken ground.
The coaster wheels I have are probably close to the size of tricycle wheels, but all four still have great movement.
I do agree fully that it's good to pay attention to the wheels most of all as safety is the number one important part of being a power chair user.
I do hope to get a lot of good information out of the community meeting today and look for brochures on power chair designs so I can share with the service cordinators in the apartment complex I live in.
