Wow!  I'm not in the crowd that would think that was no big feat!  I think
that is a huge accomplishment, and you should be very proud!  If you don't
mind me asking, are you totally blind?  Even if youi're not, that still is
huuge!  Keep up the good work!!

Hello all. This may not sound like much to those of you who are pretty 
good travellers. I'm fairly proficient with my power chair indoors and 
good outside following voice directions. But I've never ventured out 
outside on my own. A few weeks ago when we took some of our animals to 
the vet, my partner showed me the route to Target which is only next 
door. It was very simple. So today I took the last fur critter in and 
once I dropped her at the vet, I made my way, by myself, outside, to 
Target. Once in Target, I listened and used my fairly good indoor travel 
skills to listen for and find the Starbucks. I then navigated the line 
and found a table with a bit of voice direction from the cashier. After 
I finished at Starbucks, I got shopping assistance and navigated the 
store with voice direction and then went back outside and back to the 
vet's office without a hitch. Feeling pretty proud of myself considering 
I've only had the chair 18 months and no real professional training.
