[Blind-rollers] Power Wheelchairs and Blind People

Hi
Medicare will pay for a chair if it has been more than five years since you
got the last one. Try to find a rehabilitation center who can do a seating
evaluation because they can write up a report to prove to Medicare the
reason for a power chair. It is a long process, I'm on my 3rd power chair
now and it takes anywhere from 12 to 18 months for Medicare to approve it
and actually get the chair.

What is a disability foundation? How do we find one? I don't know whether
Medicare would pay for a chair for me or not. Thanks
