[Blind-Rollers] denial

Hi Lauren
Just keep pushing.  The first time I asked for attendant control on my chair
it was denied because they said it was a convenience.  I wrote a letter and
sent it with the vendor stuff and then it was accepted and the last time
around when I got the latest of my 4th power chairs in 2016 they didn't even
question the request.

Hi,

I got a denial from my insurance, United Healthcare.  They said my dr.
hadn't shown that a power chair was medically necessary. They also said the
coding was wrong and I needed a smaller chair than the heavy duty one
requested.  So the wheelchair company is submitting it again with revised
coding. So we'll see what happens next. They're requesting a smaller chair
this time, for one thing.
