Your diagnosis sounds similar to mine, dear Lauren. I just had a shot in my
bursar that took away a lot of my hip pain. Obviously I don't know your
circumstances. I just want to give you hope. Osteoarthritis most of why I am
in a wheelchair.
Warm loving hugs,
Becky

Hi,
I do not have an answer for your question, however I wanted to say hi and
stuff.
I am now in a skilled nursing facility, and pretty much bedridden. The
diagnosis is: severe, advanced, degenerative osteoarthritis of the right hip
and spreading to the pelvic area. Also some in the spine. Very, very
painful even with pain meds. Bummer!
The staff here has no idea how independent I once was. I don't think they
believe me when I tell them. I do not like this!
I am still writing, crocheting and listening to music using the "cylinder"
as my sister calls it.
So, that is my update for now.
I was worried that this list might have died or something.
Thanks,
Blessings,
Stay safe and well,
Lauren Merryfield

Are there any schools flexible enough to train a dog for a wheelchair user
who is totally blind. I am asking for my friend and maybe myself for the
future.
Warmly,
Becky
