[Blind-Rollers] the test

Hi again Maureen, I’m a little behind in my emails. Because you went to blind Inc., I am assuming you have a lot of experience with a cane through your training center. I am a huge proponent of the long cane. However long it needs to be to make you feel like you can stop in time is exactly the right length.
If you were not a graduate, I would suggest you just turn your governor down until you got more comfortable and easy it up a notch or two every couple of weeks. I just mention that for everybody else to read, if they start with the governos low, just like people who walk, they can adjust their speed as they gain proficiency.
I am sure you probably would have mentioned this in a post or two but I’m playing catch-up with my email right now and just thought I would drop it in.
