Hi Becky
I used to have a walker which had special forearm troughs mounted on it so I
had my hands free and leaned on my forearms. If I had my left arm stretched
out as far as I could I could use the long white cane. It put me in a
crazy position leaning ing mostly on my left arm and was ultimately very
hard on my left shoulder but it worked for when I had to walk.

Have any of you been able to use a walker and a long white cane? Please tell
me what you used, and how did you use the long white cane. I am thinking I
might have to lay it on something to swivel. You tell me what you used and
how, please.
My back won't let me walk without assistance. I have been pretty much in
this ten year old manual since I fell in December breaking my arm. I am just
weak and can't walk very far.
Thank you so much for any ideas.
Becky
