Thank you Becky. While I am not a Royalist, I do feel it's been the end of a
very long era. Our new King has some very large shoes to fill.
Big hugs back.
Erica

Erica, I am writing all my British friends. I am so sorry to hear of the
death of the Queen. You grieve with much of the world. There is quite a cast
of characters coming to her funeral. I hope all mind their manners.

Warm hugs,

Becky in her Joy Wheels

A Discussion of Blindness and Additional Disabilities Sunday, October 9,
2022
7:00 -8:30 P.M.

The National Federation of the Blind of Ohio Committee on Diversity, Equity,
and Inclusion cordially invites you to an important discussion of the
experiences of members who are Blind and have additional disabilities. We
have scheduled this program on Sunday October 9 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. to
celebrate blind Equality Achievement Month.

The purpose of this program is to educate members of the National Federation
of the Blind and the community at large regarding the unique and diverse
experiences of Blind people with additional and secondary disabilities. By
the end of this program, participants will be able to:

* Described the unique and varied ways in which additional disabilities
interact with Blindness and how these interactions affect the life
experiences of members of the Blind Community;
* Discuss how members of the National Federation of the Blind can create a
hospitable and welcoming environment for members with additional
disabilities; and
* Develop and implement policies to support Blind members of the community
with additional disabilities in all aspects of chapter, affiliate, and
division operations.

This discussion is moderated by Annette Anderson, Emily Kiehl, and
Christopher Sabine, members of the National Federation of the Blind of
Ohio's Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Additional time will
be available for others to share their own experiences with additional
disabilities

This discussion will take place on Sunday, October 9, 2022, in the Ohio
Affiliate Zoom Room.
