Hi
I would be interested, not so much for myself but I have a friend totally blind who is really struggling with her walker and a link to a You Tube might be helpful for her.

Subject: [Blind-Rollers] Smart cane

I am listening to a man formerly from the VA training center trainer who is talking about a smart cane he invented with a wheel. This sounds so much easier to move in front of us, plus the detection of objects using vibrations. The wheel is omnidirectional, so usable by anyone using a manual, or power chair as well I should think a walker. His name is Brian.
Is anyone interested if he has a YouTube video, and I don't know either way if he does, to send it to this list. I shall inquire of him, if anyone shows interest.

  Becky
