I received the message from Jessica though it was difficult to find because it is a very short message. It gives each of the dot configurations for all of the accent signs and then says to hit enter with each one. At least, I think that was what she meant. For example, it said:
á dots 12356 w/ enter
é dots 2346 w/ enter
í dots 34 w/ enter
ó dots 346 w/ enter
ú dots 23456 w/ enter
ü dots 1256 w/ enter
ñ dots 12456 w/ enter
¡ dots 235 w/ enter
¿ dots 26 w/ enter
Does (w/enter mean with enter? I tried that and nothing happened. I then changed the language setting to Spanish but my daughter says that she does this specifically for reading spanish. aubrie has just been pressing dot 4 before hitting the letter that needs to be accented. She knows the accents because she reads them all of the time in her spanish book. when I wrote her teacher, she said that her work looks fine but aubrie knows that she is not doing anything for the pre-sentence marks, i.e. inverted question and inverted exclaimation.
