My son used extensions on the keys of the Brailler. His hands were small and he did not have much finger strength, so his teacher decided to try the extensions. They worked well while his hand strength improved. I'm not sure where the teacher got these extensions, but I can try to find out.Regards,Maria > From: christi_an at msn.com> To: blindkid at nfbnet.org> Date: Wed, 4 Feb 2009 15:01:07 +0000> Subject: Re: [blindkid] Braille writer> > > I can't speak to an easier braille writer. I do remember a kindergarten teacher tell me that to strengthen my eldest daugher's hand strength to play with playdo. If you don't like the mess with playdo than try some different shaped stress balls.> > Christi-An> > As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.> Joshua 24:15> Date: Wed, 4 Feb 2009 07:10:37 -0600> From: Meng at sccompanies.com> To: blindkid at nfbnet.org> Subject: [blindkid] Braille writer> > > Jonathan will never read print so it is imperative that we get him> started learning Braille.
