God bless this family for trying to do all they can for their child.
However, they are viewing blindness as if the child's life would be over. As
Federationist, we know this is not the case. I would encourage the list to
not forward pleas for fundraising, etc. especially when the fundraiser is so
pulling on the strings of what a "tragedy" blindness is.
