Mike, I too was trouble by the "defenseless" comment. Kris is certainly NOT defenseless! He is quite capable and trained. I think the other guy left with more bruises than Kris sustained. Unfortunately, news reporters always leave out that part. I am glad they finally brought this guy to trial and that he got a stiff sentence, along with community service. Hopefully he will come away with a better perspective of the blind, and more empathy for all people.

I am troubled by the Judge's conclusion that this man is one of the most
